License key FAQ
What an AS license key is, where to find it, and what revocation means.

The agentshorts license key is a buyer-specific identifier used for entitlement checks, support, and piracy deterrence. It usually starts with AS- and may appear in a grouped format such as AS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XX.
Where to find it
Look in the purchase delivery email, access portal message, or module setup notes. If you cannot find it, email [email protected] from the purchase email address and include your checkout provider and order ID.
What activation does
Activation lets the product confirm that a local install maps to an entitlement. It may record a timestamp, license hash, product or module ID, version, and minimal environment metadata needed for support and abuse prevention.
Activation should not send source videos, generated clips, private prompts, provider API keys, .env contents, or full local file paths.
What revocation means
If a refund, chargeback, abuse report, or piracy case revokes a license, the product should show a warning. The v0 license behavior is intentionally not hostile DRM: local commands can exit successfully unless the buyer enables strict local behavior.
Revocation still matters. Support, updates, repository access, private modules, and future delivery can be stopped for revoked licenses.
Support lookup
When contacting support, include only the license prefix and the exact warning text. Do not send the full key in screenshots posted publicly.
